The Micro campervan, which sleeps two people, is our smallest camper van rental. This particular vehicle features curtains all around and a double bed with space for luggage under the head of the double bed. A shower proof rear tent fits over the rear door enabling you to have standing room and space to change clothes.

Cook meals beside the vehicle with the foldable picnic table, folding chairs, single ring cooker, and cutlery set. Micro campervan hire also contains a water bottle, light, and a power connection which can be attached when staying in a camping ground.

You can sleep inside the camper van while having the rear door up and tent attached or with the back door locked.

The camper has a fly screen which connects to the side window, providing a fresh breeze when sleeping. Micro camper vehicles are Nissan vans with a 1.5 litre petrol engine. Four seatbelts are available for day time travel.

Features:

Insurance: The standard insurance excess is $1,000, this is the most you would have to pay in the event of an accident. You can pay an extra $15 per day or $280 per hire to reduce the excess to zero, which means if you have an accident, you will not have to pay anything.

One way hire: Travel one way between Auckland and Christchurch or Christchurch to Auckland. One way rentals attract a relocation fee of up to $400.
